Shirley nearing the top of Godzilla.
The right sort of cragging day for Blondie – not too long of a drive and an even shorter approach (5 minutes). Despite getting to the parking lot at 10ish in the morning (on a Saturday), we found the Lower Town Wall empty – guess everyone else was in the mountains. Climbed
Godzilla (5.9 and tons of fun) then continued up pitch 2 of
City Park (5.10+, hard start of course – a boulder problem) and finished up
Slow Children (5.10+). The last one is really hard: the start (ledge fall potential), the middle and one last sting at the very end. Another reality check courtesy of Index.

Starting up Godzilla – very fun climbing, well deserves its reputation for quality (June 2015).
Higher on Godzilla – there seem to be two options roughly where I am: a handcrack on the right (my choice) and a finger crack on the left (June 2015).
Funnest pitch of the day.

Our pitch – City Park. A 5.10+ start above a ledge…at least the pro is good…
Looking back at Shirley from midway up pitch 2 (City Park). Easy climbing the belay from here (June 2015).
Pitch 3 – Slow Children. Again, hard climbing with no pro above a ledge. Scary (June 2015).
